With precious little fanfare until now comes news of what – if it lives up to its claims – could be a genuine revolution in videogaming.
It’s called the AzanaBand (www.azanaband.com), a Bluetooth device that hooks up to existing virtual reality gaming technology. It promises to add a rather revolutionary spin to games, by allowing the visuals before your eyes to be married up to sensations that are sent through your body. None of that mucky stuff or anything, rather that the band, its makers reckon, can stimulate feelings of happiness, fear and pain via the pulses it sends through your body. It’s a device that’s appeared pretty much out of nowhere.
More information – as we said – can be found at www.azanaband.com. What’s more, here’s a first look at their promotional ad for the product.
