I love international movies, Particularly those of the Horror and Fantasy genres. If you ever saw the original Japanese The Ring or Pans Labyrinth,  you know what I’m talking about. They have an edge that the American movies don’t. Today I was randomly looking through YouTube and I came across this little gem.

In the wake of Troll Hunter comes Thale, now showing in Norwegian cinemas and making the festival rounds internationally.

Thale is a feature film based on a mythical character in Norwegian folklore called Huldra. According to the myth a Hulder is a beautiful lady with a cow tail that lives deep in the woods. It is said that she seduces men working or hunting in the forest with a beautiful song that lures them away never to be seen again.
