A Julia Davis sitcom is a sitcom you’re going to want to see. Nobody writes comedy quite as daring, misanthropic or twistedly funny as Davis. Her characters are absurd creatures that, through her gift for observation and keen ear for dialogue, become horridly recognisable from real life.
From Nighty Night to Hunderby to Camping, Julia Davis is a master of the art. Her latest creation Sally4Ever is coming soon to Sky Atlantic and Now TV. It stars Davis, Catherine Shepherd, Julian Barratt, Mark Gatiss, Sean Bean (Sean Bean!), Joanna Scanlan, Felicity Montague, and more.

And here’s the official synopsis:
The seven-part show follows Sally (Catherine Shepherd), a conscientious office worker who’s tip toed through life avoiding risk and adventure. But that all changes when she meets Emma (Julia Davis), a seductive, charismatic, bohemian actress, singer, musician, poet and author. Sally ditches her monotonous relationship with her boyfriend David (Alex Macqueen) and embarks on a wild affair with Emma. But barely before Sally’s had a chance to catch her breath and put her clothes back on, her new lover has taken over every aspect of her life. Is this really what Sally wants, or has she made a mistake?
